Hi everyone,
we have followed the media reporting/response to Kohei Saito’s new book (so far only published in Japanese and German). It’s already big in German-speaking media (for a planning book), but judging by Kohei Saito’s twitter (where he shares a lot of articles, etc. on his book), the Japanese one is huge.
Sadly, we don’t have anyone who can speak Japanese in one of our working groups yet, so it’s very difficult to get a reliable overview and be able to make strategic estimations + report on it adequately in our news section.
Can you speak Japanese or do you know anyone who does and would you/them like to help us with that effort? If yes, please get in contact with us (best through hello@indep.network)!
This is really the biggest public attention (at least that I know of) that ideas around democratic economic planning ever had in the public sphere, so we should know as much as possible about it to see how we can capitalize on that. These opportunities don’t come every day and are gone faster than one would like, please help us to use it!
